November 2021 Release

1min

The Jetstream release on November 18th, 2021 includes the following:

  • A complete reboot of jetstreamrfid.com! The application fka Admin Console is now Jetstream Navigator. Navigator still enables you to manage your Jetstream Access Keys, and view devices across all your Jetstream applications, in an easy to use web interface. This initial release of Jetstream Navigator brings faster performance, more powerful event searching and filtering, and additional device metadata.
    • What's Been Added:
      • Tables (Device, Event, Access Key) can now be exported in a variety of formats.
      • Search and Filter Device Events by date range and type
      • Inactive Device Details (review data and events for devices that have been deleted from your Jetstream application)
      • Additional device data
        • Current Websocket Status
        • Date Device was Added On
        • Current Firmware (Agent) and Reader Version on Device
    • What's Changed:
      • All events are now reviewed at the device level, rather than an application-wide events table.
      • The entire website now provides a unified view across all of your Jetstream applications. No more selecting which access key jetstreamrfid.com should use on your behalf.
    • What's Been Removed (Removed features may be recreated in future releases of jestrteamrfid.com, depending on demand):
      • Device Simulator - this tool, while useful, also caused many data issues over the years, and was a potential risk to data integrity. Contact Terso support to discuss other modes of testing.
      • Aliases Management - deprecated due to lack of use. Aliases are still available via the API.
      • Device Dashboard - deprecated due to lack of offline compatibility, and inaccuracy with new device types. Contact Terso support if you have specific Jetstream data reporting requests we can assist with.
  • Device, Alias and Policy names can now include commas, periods, hyphens, or spaces (,.- ) in addition to letters, numbers, and underscores.
  • Get a Device's Configuration Parameters can be successfully sent to devices that are not in a policy.
  • The Device Definition list has been cleaned up. This cleanup will continue over the remainder of the year, to ensure only valid, up-to-date Device Definitions are available for selection.
  • API Performance Enhancements.
  • Security Enhancements.
