Kanban Read Points

10min

Devices used with the Kanban Inventory Management feature are called Kanban Read Points. Much like standard Terso Devices, Kanban Read Points come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and feature sets and have the ability to report the presence and movement of RFID-tagged items. The main difference between Kanban Read Points and standard Terso devices is the workflow of RFID-tagged items. For standard devices, an item is considered to be "In Stock" if it is being read by a device. On the other hand, when a Kanban Read Point reads an RFID tag, that tag is then considered to be "Out of Stock". See Kanban Inventory Management for more information on the feature.
