**Enclosure Firmware Version 5.1.16 Release Notes **

**Platforms: **IRIS, IRIS Quad

**Affected Models**: This firmware (FW) update affects the following enclosure models with an IRIS or IRIS Quad SBCs that are currently running FW v5.0.XX.

- TS030 - Large RFID Cabinet
- TS032 - Compact RFID Cabinet
- TS035 - Compact International RFID Cabinet
- TS074e - Large RFID Refrigerator
- TS088 - Ultra Low Temperature RFID Freezer
- TS092 - Large Secure Access Cabinet
- TS093 - Midsize RFID Freezer
- TS096 - Undercounter RFID Freezer
- TS097 - Undercounter RFID Refrigerator
- TS098 - Countertop RFID Refrigerator
- TS099 - Midsize RFID Refrigerator

**Firmware Version**: FW v5.1.16 / OS 11.4.10

**Application: **

**Production:** FW v5.1.16 should be installed on all new production enclosure models with IRIS or IRIS Quad SBCs.

**Field:** FW v5.1.16 should be installed on all field-installed enclosure models with IRIS or IRIS Quad SBCs that are currently running v5.0.XX.

**Overview of changes:** This release adds new functionality and includes bug fixes.

**Adds:**

- Support for use of a barcode reader instead of the RFID pass reader for user access credentials (
- Support for Japanese language fonts for the graphics-capable LCD
- Added the ability to set the timeout on the DHCP client through the local interface and/or policy
- Additional debug messages during the AutoUpdate sequence
- New door lock functionality for the TS088. See Device Configuration Parameters for details.

**Changes:**

- A user of the local interface can now easily view the Interfaces and resolv.conf files to simplify the installation of devices in the field
- The timing of ObjectEvents is now a random second within the selected ObjectEventHour. Previously this was a random minute. The random second is automatically selected during the device boot sequence
- Improved memory management
- SBC Linux OS: Updated libraries

- **DoorLockTriggered** – For TS088 only. When set to True, will enable DoorLockTriggeredDelay (see below) and the enclosure door lock is de-energized with a door breach.
