Overview of changes: This update is a minor version update to IRIS firmware version 5.2. This version includes improvements to memory leakage, addition of support for multiple new temperature measurement hardware sources, and important bug fixes relating to LCD messaging, reboots, and firmware commands.
Adds:
- New temperature measurement sources support
This version of the firmware now supports three potential temperature measurement sources (the original I2C, EREShop board I2C version, and SPI).
Removes:
- None
Changes:
- TS092 Secure Access Cabinet door open/close incorrect LCD message
The incorrect LCD message (system scanning) would be displayed on the TS092 after the door was closed. This has been resolved with the correct LCD message (scan pass) appearing once the door has been closed.
- First time sync certificate validation
When performing a time sync for the first time certificate validation is no longer required.
- Memory leakage addressed
- Consecutive Display Message triggering reboot
It has been seen that excessive writes to the display triggers the firmware to reboot. This has been resolved in this firmware version.
- SetConfigValues command only returns maximum of 10 invalid parameters
The SetConfigValues command would only return maximum of 10 invalid parameters. The firmware has been updated to allocate the same number of invalid parameters.
Device Definitions:
Current device definitions for the previous version are still valid.
It is recommended that customers use the most current device definitions available unless instructed otherwise by the Terso Customer Success team.
