TS074 Reset Instructions
The TS074 has 2 different variations of electronics enclosure, please follow the instructions below for your specific variation. This can be determined by the "Bypass" Variation having the switches attached to a silver electronics enclosure protruding from the back of the device as shown in the attached images. Please make sure the door on the unit has not been accessed or opened for 5 to 10 minutes when resetting TS074 (Bypass Reset)
1. Turn the RFID power switch to off on the back right side of the fridge.
2. Depress reset button for at least 5 seconds, then release. (Reset button has a label which looks like a horseshoe or broken circle)
3. Lastly power on the refrigerator with the RFID power switch.
4. The system should now be rebooting, this take approximately 2 minutes to complete. 5. The LCD Screen which normally indicates “Welcome, Place Pass Below” will turn back on and go through a sequence of messages:
“Please Wait, System Booting” “Please Wait, System Scanning” “Welcome, Place Pass Below” 6. Following the completion of the reset process, please allow 3-5 minutes for the device for the device to boot up before presenting a pass.
7. Once the device has returned to “Welcome, Place Pass Below” on the screen, it should be back in working order.
TS074 non-bypass reset
1.) Power off the Refrigerator with the main power switch on the back of the unit. The switch is located on the side of a metal panel.
2.) Press in the Reset button (Pin hole button on the back of the unit) for about 5 seconds. Please take note to press the button only once and hold, if accidentally pressed and released, please power back on the unit and wait 5 minutes before trying to reset again.
Restarting Unit
1.) Before Powering the unit back on Check the front LCD panel where the Pass reader is located, this should be turned off. Then power on the refrigerator on with the main power switch in the back. 2.) The LCD Screen which normally indicates “Welcome, Place Pass Below” will turn back on and go through a sequence of messages:
“Please Wait, System Booting” “Please Wait, System Scanning” “Welcome, Place Pass Below” 3.) Following the completion of the reset process, please allow 3-5 minutes for the device for the device to boot up before presenting a pass.
4.) Once the device has returned to “Welcome, Place Pass Below” on the screen, it should be back in working order.
